What does Happy Hours cost?
After a 14-day free trial, $10/month plus a fee on invoices (only for invoices paid through the Happy Hours payment portal). The invoice payment fee applies during the free trial period. See pricing for more details.
Can I set multiple hourly rates on a project?
Yes, you can set up your hourly rates when creating a project or contract, and pick which rate applies (e.g., field work or office work) when creating an invoice.
Can I set a budget on a project?
Yes — a dollar limit, an hours limit, or both. Either can reset monthly for retainer-style work, and you'll see a warning right in the log-time form before an entry puts you over. See budgeting for more details.
How do I know when I'm getting close to a budget?
Budget status shows up everywhere you work: a warning inside the log-time form as you draft an entry, progress bars on your dashboard that change color near the limit, and an over-budget banner on the project page.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Happy Hours integrates with Plaid and Stripe, so your bank and payment credentials stay with them — we don't store any of your account information.
Is there any limit on the number of projects or clients I can manage?
No. Track as many projects and clients as you'd like without any additional cost.
